La Nuit des 300 evokes a sacred night suspended between battle and desire—a quiet promise shared skin to skin before dawn’s uncertainty. Inspired by the legendary Sacred Band and the mythic courage of ancient warriors, perfumer Maurice Roucel sought to capture the contrast of metal and flesh, armor and vulnerability. The scent opens with luminous musky freshness from ambrettolide, sharpened by herbal artemisia and bright bergamot, like cool air over sun-warmed stone. At its heart, ambroxide musk blends with lavender and tonka bean, creating an aromatic warmth that feels both clean and deeply sensual.
