Black Sea portrays the ocean in its most dramatic state—the charged stillness before a storm. Created by Lorenzo Pazzaglia, this extrait de parfum opens with tension in the air: wind heavy with salt, waves dark and restless, nature holding its breath. It is intense and atmospheric, evoking vast horizons and deep waters that command silence. Yet as the storm fades, calm returns, revealing a serene and enveloping dimension. Black Sea becomes a refuge—quiet, dense, and contemplative.
The opening is sharp and saline: bergamot and Sardinian myrtle cut through ozone and aquatic notes, heightened by a mineral salt accord that feels bracing and immediate. In the heart, orange blossom and ylang-ylang soften the composition, while black salt of Cyprus and marine notes deepen its mysterious character. The base settles into seaweed and ambergris, enriched by patchouli and oakmoss, wrapped in white musk. The result is marine yet woody, powerful yet soothing—a fragrance that moves from stormy intensity to a velvety, shadowed calm.
