Essences Set - ACT I presents Amouage’s Essences Collection through three fragrances created as an olfactory expression of the value of time. This elegant Discovery Coffret contains Reasons by Bertrand Duchaufour, Lustre by Julien Rasquinet and Paul Guerlain, and Outlands by Cécile Zarokian. Each Essence contains 30% pure perfume oils and undergoes a meticulous six-month aging process. A double-infusion with sandalwood chips and artisanal oakwood barrels brings additional depth and layering, reflecting the collection’s focus on time, craftsmanship, and olfactory artistry.
Reasons moves from cardamom, hazelnut, cinnamon, and Schinus molle into patchouli, pine, Cashmeran, amber, cypriol, and davana, before settling into resinous woods, vetiver, myrrh, oakmoss, musks, and palo santo. Lustre pairs cardamom and orris with patchouli, sandalwood, and cedarwood, finishing with benzoin, labdanum, vanilla, Ambrarome, cypriol, styrax, tonka bean, and myrrh. Outlands opens with cardamom, citrus, Sichuan pepper, elemi, and frankincense, followed by a complex floral-spiced heart and a rich base of resins, amber, ambergris, vanilla, birch, musks, oud, and frankincense. Together, the three 2ml samples showcase distinct compositions united by concentration, careful maturation, and the Essences collection’s double-infusion process.

How to apply
Apply to pulse points such as behind the ears, at the base of the throat, on the wrists, inside the elbows, and/or behind the knees.
