KARAK TEA

Karak tea in perfume evokes strong tea softened by milk and sweetness, with an aromatic layer of spice. The contrast is central: a darker black-tea impression beneath a creamy surface, rather than milk sweetness alone. Cardamom or saffron can give particular interpretations a more distinct spicy accent.

This is an accord inspired by the drink, not a single botanical ingredient. A perfumer shapes tea, milky and spicy impressions into a composition; the name does not require one recipe or imply that brewed tea or dairy is present. Some fragrances keep this effect soft and rounded, while others set it against woods or smoky notes. The surrounding composition decides how much of the tea, creaminess or spice you notice.
