CINNAMON FROM LAOS
Cinnamon from Laos is an origin-labelled spice note, bringing the idea of cinnamon warmth into a fragrance. The geographical detail can describe a perfumer’s chosen material, but does not by itself specify a botanical species or a scent profile unique to the country. It is better understood within the composition than as a promise of an especially strong or sweet cinnamon.
Les Indémodables lists a royal cinnamon material from Laos in Oranger Sirocco, alongside orange blossom and petitgrain from Morocco. The house presents the fragrance as a meeting of flowers and spices, offering a clear example of cinnamon in a floral setting. This reference does not establish that every Laos-labelled cinnamon is the same extract. The note alone also cannot confirm a particular harvesting process, chemical concentration or strength relative to Ceylon cinnamon.
