AMBRE 84 DE LAIRE

Ambre 84 de Laire is a composed perfume base that takes a classic amber idea towards gourmand sweetness. Its character draws on the warmth of amber while introducing a caramelised-sugar direction, rather than representing an oil from a natural material.

Created within Symrise’s de Laire collection, it revisits the heritage of Ambre 83. Symrise perfumer accounts identify ethyl maltol as important to this newer interpretation. A base is a blend that perfumers can use within a larger composition, so the result need not smell like the base alone. The name identifies a particular creative material, not all amber fragrances.
